Just a reminder our first stop at CMP this year is just over a month away. The 2010 THSCC/TZC Southern Fried Track Event will be June 18-20 down in sunny Kershaw SC. Friday will be our annual Instructor's clinic as well as a lapping day for those interested. Saturday and Sunday will be our traditional HPDE format. If you haven't signed up already, we still have capacity in all run groups. Sign up here!
If you have signed up as an Instructor Candidate for the clinic this year, don't forget to fill out the New Instructor application and turn it in to Mark Vitacco. If this is your first event with us this year and you haven't had your car tech inspected, please make sure to bring our completed tech form with you to registration. Feel free to email if you have any questions.

We will be changing the location for our May meeting. Wild Wing Cafe, 7900 Brier Creek Parkway, Raleigh NC. 27617 Thursday June 3rd. 7:00 PM
The group voted to try Wild Wing Cafe this month. It is located on the north side of Hwy 70 / Glenwood Ave. The entrance is a little tricky, you can turn left off Brier Creek Parkway and circle around the back or pull a quick U-turn to get there.
We usually start showing up around 7:00 PM and start the meeting at 7:30 Don't be fooled by the name, they have an extensive menu: http://www.wildwingcafe.com/our-locations/menus/raleigh-nc.pdf They have salads, burgers, wraps, ribs, bbq, sandwiches, shrimp, WINGS and beer. The prices are very reasonable. I requested their "indoor patio", but it depends on availability. Thanks to everyone who came out and participated ! We had 41 registered show vehicles, and the lot had from 50 - 75 cars most of the day with the cruise in traffic. After weather forecasts varying between 20% and 50% chance of showers Saturday, we finally got things straightened out Friday night, and Saturday morning broke bright and clear with our traditional fall show weather. The t-shirts are printing, the trophies are being assembled and the BBQ is on order, we hope to see everyone at Crossroads Nissan in Wake Forest this Saturday, October 3rd for our 6th annual fall Z car show, this year including a Nissan cruise in.
